great find

Found these great old printers blocks when out searching for a twelve. A perfect fit for the cover. Why was the punctuation never used?

Binding

Considering binding techniques for 12/12. Think I'll keep it simple and stick with the 3 hole ledger variety. Better keep it to a small print run unless I can train my cat to punch holes while I'm at work.

My favorite bookbinding book is Japanese Bookbinding: Instuctions from a Master Craftsman by Kojiro Ikegami (1986). I really should buy my own copy.
Thank you, library--for unlimited renewals!

12/12 Project

Santa Meets the Ice Dragon. A preview of panel 2. 12/12 is a project that forces one to create a short story with set parameters. My attempt to hone my skills--and maybe finish a story.

Bunny Bread

Bunnies. Bread. Seemed appropriate today. The ears were more bunny-like before the dough reached its puffiest. When I was a kid, a jelly bean face was involved. I opted for a more universal bunny this year. Mostly because I remember not really liking the taste of the jelly bean and bread combo.

No bunnies were harmed in the making of this bread. Vicious rumors are just that. Vicious.

Now for a sandwich...

A Gosling

I happened upon Stuart Kolakovic’s site today and was so impressed that I immediately purchased his mini comic. Absolutely lovely. He has also done a beautiful matchbook size comic (Ja Ljubav Te) of which I am despicably envious. Why couldn’t I have thought to make a comic book vending machine? Brilliant!
